Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) control systems
The implemented Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) control systems cover the majority of the biological and chemical waste water treatment processes. As part of such system automation, various steps are taken to achieve the required quality of treated water. The automation involves the automatic control of several parameters – flow rate, the amount of return sludge, the control of internal recirculation and air flow from the central air bus. These steps are controlled as per current chemical and physical measurements.
The measurements include different quantities: dissolved oxygen, dry matter concentration, ammonia nitrogen content, liquid level, temperature, servo valve position and flow rate.
Individual WWTP setting
Customers have the possibility to individually adjust algorithms according to their needs either on-site, i.e., at the wastewater treatment plant or remotely from a control room.
The resulting settings can be transferred to the operation control centre, thus ensuring the maximum flexibility and efficiency of wastewater treatment plant management and maintenance. A customized algorithm meets the requirements ensuring the modern and efficient automatic control of technological processes.
Such a comprehensive solution for wastewater and water treatment automation has been, for instance, implemented in Rožňava.
