Information systems for self-governing authorities

Information systems for self-governing authorities support the transparency, efficiency and involvement of citizens in public decision-making processes. They play a very important role in the modernisation of self-governing authorities and in improving the efficiency of public administration. Thanks to them, such authorities can digitise and automate various administrative processes and involve public in decision-making. This in turn contributes to the transparency and participation of citizens in public administration.

The Digital Council Meetings application is a web application designed for self-governing regions, which was developed for the needs of the Košice Self-governing Region’s office and council and has been the first of its kind to be deployed in Slovakia. It ensures efficient document management in one central location.

The Online voting application is a web-based application for self-governing authorities designed to prepare and implement the deliberations of relevant committees without any need for their face to face contact. This information system also supports on-line voting.

The eDemocracy application deals with the processing of the above comments and requests and with the recording of their results. It ensures the reduction of labour and increased efficiency of self-governing processes related to the processing of agenda of the citizen commenting process.

The application of digitalisation of processes for self-governing and state administration authorities has been developed to increase the efficiency of the processes of VÚC (VÚC - Higher Territorial Units/HTUs) related to the processing of social and health department agenda.
